Events of the game continues immediately after the events of Killzone 2, where we learn that the emperor Vissard, Helgastov leader, dies at the feet of "Seva" and Rico. But this does not mean that the war had been won. After the death of Vissard on the planet Helgan evolving political intrigues, feuds and murder. Now two of the most influential person on the planet are fighting for the complete and utter domination. With little resources and without reinforcement, the organization of ISA should not fight for victory in war, and even for survival.
